Gen Kelsang Rigpa

Gen Rigpa is the NKT-IKBU Western US Spiritual Director and resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Los Angeles. He is a close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, having received lineage blessings and oral transmissions directly from him. Gen Rigpa’s heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth and humor, making them accessible to everyone. He shows the joy of living a spiritual life and is an inspiring example of Kadampa Buddhism in practice. Through his clear presentation, he is able to help students discover for themselves how to integrate these timeless teachings into our modern world, making everyday life joyful and meaningful. He will grant the empowerment and give the commentary.

Gen Kelsang Rinzin

Gen Rinzin is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Washington in Seattle and Tushita Kadampa Buddhist Center in Olympia. Gen Kelsang Rinzin has taught Kadampa Buddhism in Colorado and Washington for 16 years. He communicates his love of Dharma with a down-to-earth approach and humor that helps the listener to appreciate and understand the teachings and put them into practice. He has been an ordained Buddhist monk since 2004.

Kadam Heather Rocklin

Kadam Heather has been the Resident Teacher of Mahasiddha Kadampa Buddhist Center in Portland, Oregon for fifteen years. A working mom, she has been studying, practicing, and teaching Kadampa Buddhism since 1998. Her teachings are heartfelt and presented with clarity and warmth that makes them accessible to everyone.
